The Continuity Book serves as a reference for future SFAC members. It provides documentation on important topics that previous SFACs have dealt with, it explains the history behind an issue, and it details the rationale underlying recommendations made or action that may need to be taken in the future. Each year, the SFAC outgoing Chair produces a continuity document that serves as both background information and guidance to enable future committees to understand the work of previous committees.
